Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am getting terrible stomach pains, after I eat. I know I am not pregnant. My gallbladder was removed in Sept. I have had Gastric Bypass 3 1/2 yrs ago can that be related to this pain? Ita not a certain food, or food type as I get this pain often, and get it while I have lettuce from a salad or a hamburger.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, it seems to be colicky abdomen pain and it may not be due to the abdomen surgeries done, if this is the epigastric pain then it could be due to acid peptic disease, it may be dyspepsia too, abdomen pain can be managed with Tab Dicyclomine and PPI like pantoprazole 40 mg once in day, still the underlying cause of pain would be matter of concern, hope this information helps.
