Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Occasionally my vision goes out of sync. Example; when I look up or straight ahead I see clearly, but when I look down my eyes act independently. If I open just one eye I see clearly, but when I open both I cannot focus. I step into a dark room close my eyes and wait a few minutes then everything is ok. I an 61 years of age and a male. What is causing this?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms of vision disturbances may be due to cerebral disease and ideally this needs imaging study of brain, second routine eye examination is also must, some time it could be due refractive error, systemic disease also need to be ruled out, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
