MY AGE 56 MALE

MY NUCLEAR STUDY RESULT AS FOLLOWS:Dt(26.02.2011)

STRESS INDUCED ISCHEMIA IN THE POSTERO - LATERAL WALL (LCX).

REST OF THE LEFT VENTRICLE MYOCARDIUM (RCA AND LCX)

APPEARS NORMAL DURING STRESS AND DURING REST.

MY TREAD MILL TEST :

DID BRUCE FOR 9'40" (11METS).

ACHIEVED 86% MPHR.

NORMAL' BP RESPONCE.

NO ARRHYTHMIAS.

3-3.5 MM ST DEPRESSION SEEN IN INFERIOR AND V3-V6 LEADS DURING PEAK EXERCISE.

TEST POSITIVE FOR INDUCIBLE ISCHEMIA.

Advise me further what to do.

Presuming that you have no familial history of MI , Lifestyle modification like fat free diet,good amount of exercise to open up significant collateral and positive outlook to life along with check on BMI, would be necessary to keep heart healthy. You require annual review how non pharmacological intervention is beneficial.
