Suggest Chances Of Fertility With Sperm Motility Of 20% In The Report

Hi doctor, i have no baby, we trying last 6 years, i have done my semen analysis test in August 2010, i got following result : Semen Quantity - 3.5 ml, Viscosity - Liquified, Colour - Cloudy Grey, Reaction - Alkaline, Total Sperms Count - 35.6 million / ml, Active Motile - 20%, Sluggish - 10%, Dead Sperm - 70%, Pus Cells - 1-2 / HPF, RBCs - Nil / HPF, Epithelial Cells - Nil / HPF, Abnormal Foems - 30% is it ok to get my wife pregnant ?

Hello

Your report suggests decreased sperm motility.Motility should be at least 55%.
You have 70 % dead sperms.

35.6 millions/ml sperm count is normal.Normally sperm count should be at least 20 millions/ml.
Morphology of sperms is normal.Only 16% normal morphology sperms is required for natural fertilization.

You need proper clinical examination and further investigations.
You need routine hemogram,RBS,colour doppler of scrotum.

You should take nutritious diet and do exercise.
You should avoid tight garments.
If low motility persists then assisted fertilization techniques like IUI can be considered.However,your partner also need proper evaluation.
