My mother in law was diagnosed last year with an inoperable brain tumour, it is not malignant.. Since diagnosis she has had severe mood swings and is now a totally different person, my father in law is finding it hard to cope with and in the last 2 days she has collapsed numerous times, how long is life expectancy usually and is her collapse to do with the tumour?
Dear I am sorry for the symptoms you are suffering I read your query and understand your concern As she is suffering mood disorders she is probably suffering frontal tumor Patient with brain tumors can suffer from epilepsy but medications can help to avoid seizures I can be more helpful if you provide the report of brain CT or MRI and current medication Life expectancy depends from tumor locations and its growth Hope my answer will help you Best regards Dr Eris Ranxha Neurologist
