Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

Gilbert syndrome is an inborn error of bilirubin metabolism. In individuals affected by Gilbert syndrome, there is a defect in the uptake of bilirubin by the liver for metabolism and excretion. The defect persists for life.
Gilbert syndrome is a harmless condition. It does not lead to any complications. It also does not require any treatment.
I hope that answers your question.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.
