Suggest Complications With Intrauterine Fetus
After having pregnancy ultrasound, Doctor give the result as Single alive intrauterine fetus of about 16-weeks duration. Anencephalic, liquor adequate. Placenta anterior low lying but not reaching the internal os. please advise me that what is defect, how it create and what its precaution to be adopted?

Anencephaly is a congenital defective formation of neural defect , major portion of brain ,skull is not formed and they r not viable , and folic acid has major role , if take adequately neura tube defects r less , it is advisable to take folic acid tablets in child bearing age before conception to avoid such problems
