Suggest Contraception That Can Be Taken After Childbirth

I had a myomectomy surgery in 2007 soon after a succesful surgury while on the operating table i suffered a pulmonary embolism (i used mirena for 3 years before the surgury and went to Asia in June 2007 and sat for 14 hrs without getting up). I was subsequently placed on warfin for 6 mths. I am now pregnant (8mths) the doctor wanted me to take heparin but i refused i have been on 81msg children's aspirin for the entire pregnancy. I want to know what is the best contraception that i can take after chilbirth. I was place on mirena prior to the myomectomy since i had heavy bleeding and wondered if that resulted in the pulmonary embolism because i would like to go back on the mirena after giving birth. I am 38 years old will be 39 in November 2011.
