Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my son is 4 years old, he had atopic eczema at the age of 18 months old (only on the face) and because of a wrong prescription/treatment, he has a scar on his face (similar to an acne scar/hole).
He's doing very well now, healthy and does not take any medicines.
The dermatologist suggested a feeling once the scar starts disturbing my son, since now he's still a child and does not pay attention to it.
Can I use a cream to reduce the scar? if so, what would you suggest?
Hi...Mederma cream is supposed to reduce the Scars formed due to any reason like pimples or eczema or injury. I suggest you use this cream and see results after 4 to 6 weeks. Regards - Dr. Sumanth
