I have a lump behind my right ear where my ear meets my head in the center. I have also been having dizzy spells. I went to the ER 3 days ago because of dizziness. Blood tests, CT scan, and EKG were all fine. Blood pressure was fine. Yet, I'm not functioning well with this dizziness. I don't have insurance, so the ER is all I can do. Any suggestions?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lump behind your ear and you are experiencing dizziness . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query . The lump behind ear could be a sebaceous cyst , swollen lymph nodes and ear infection also known as otitis media . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper diagnosis , because if left untreated the infection can spread to surrounding and can cause further complications . Doctor may perform certain test like audiometery test , rotatory chair test and check with otoscope to rule out conditions like acoustic neuroma and meniere's disease . For now keep your ear dry , apply dry hot compresses and drink green tea with ginger thrice a day .
Get Well Soon.
