This might be a bit complicated - my mother has suffered from an infected eye for about half a year (and now she feels as if there is some kind of pressure on her eye ball from the inside) - every time she went to the doctor she was given some new antibiotics. My mother suffers from hemiparease from a subaracnoideal aneurisem 11 years ago. About 1½ year ago she pulled out a tooth on her own without any anesthetics and has recently hed both her +1 removed. The dentist found a huge abscess in a capsula which he removed. Well back to the eye problem - my mother has not been more confuse than usual, she is in no more pain than usual and she has not lost any weight at all. Could it be the abscess from her mouth which has spread? Please be honest - right now she is under investigation for a tumour or a thrombosis. What is most likely?
