I had an irritation near my vulva, and scratched it. Now its still itchy/painful. Also my groin area is sensitive and hurts if I have my legs bent up for too long. I looked over Herpes symptoms and am now freaking out because where I was itching and scratched now looks like a lesion, but I don't know if it because I scratched hard. Help!

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through query.Herpes usually presented as small blister leisons.Your problem is most likely a yeast infection. For such condition in my patients i advise Clotrimazole cream for local application and Fluconazole tablet weekly once as oral intake to stop recurrence.I also recommend them to use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by prevent from getting further infections. You can confirm it by showing to a dermatologist or gynecologist.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
