Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
In March I was bucked off a horse and tore my MCL and I have a large hematoma on the inside of my lower left leg. The MCL tear has healed but the hematoma is still there. I now have an indentation in my leg and the bruise has turned a brown color. It is not bothering me. You still can feel some of the hardness that developed from the hematoma. It has been seven months since my fall. Does it take a long time for a hematoma to completely absorb?
