Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

2 month old with jaundice is she thriving well? Child needs additional investigations for thyroid level hemoglobin and blood group. How is her urine? If it is high colored it means some retention of bile is occurring. If thyroid level is normal could be due to breast feeding (where breast milk in low amounts) or breast milk (due to pregnanediol). It requires confirmation by blood investigations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prasanna Lakshmi, Pediatrician
