General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The mother in law is correct stating this as infection of intestine. Additional guidelines:

- take capsule Omeprazole or Pantoprazole with sips of water on empty stomach 2 times a day
- consume more liquids
- prefer bland, vegan diet at present
- avoid spices, chilly
- do rest precisely

Consult your family doctor as per the need.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
