I am suffering from menopause, weight gain , severe hot flashes , anxiety . I have had a partial hysterectomy at 35 years old. I am 56 now and have been dealing with this now for about 2 years now but weight and hot flashes , sleeplessness and anxiety has increased this year . I want a natural means to counteract these symptoms that won t create the chance of Cancer, stroke , or other issues I ve been reading about related to estrogen and progesterone therapy.
It may be indicating thyroid dysfunction and insomnia may be difficult to treat, but there are some methods which can be used. Treatment options include behavior and lifestyle changes, medicines, and complementary medicines. You need to change your dietary habits, and these include changing your sleep area or schedule, watching what and when you eat and drink, and being more active.
It's also important to keep regular bedtimes and wake times seven days a week and to try to avoid taking naps during the day. Prescription sleep medicines may also help and include diazepam and similar medications. Melatonin is a supplement which may be of help as well. In severe cases, special testing needed.
