Suggest Diet For Border Line Diabetics In Pregnancy

Hi I m 28 weeks pregnant..I just had my GTT done..unfortunately one of my result is abnormal & one is pretty close so doctor said that i m border line diabetic & need to control my sugar levels...what type of diet should I follow in order to get controlled..? Can anyone suggest me the INDIAN diet which I can follow

U need to have sugar checks regularly monitoring of sugar is necessary. Have small and frequent meals. Take meal every 2-3 hrly have sprouts, channa murmura, brown bread sandwich in ur diet. Have fibre rich foods like salads and fruits. Have complex carbohydrates no simple sugars. Avoid sugar honey jaggery. Have fruits in morning not evening avoid too juicy fruits. No juices at all. Take 1 fruit tthroughout day. Include salads twice a day. Have milk without sugar . include soups . curds buttermilk. Skim milk paneer. Can use soya products. Have rice in lunch a small quantity but not in dinner.avoid khoa or sweets. With ur weight height and age and sugar reading consult dietician.
