General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, Welcome to Ask a doctor services. I have read your query.

If you are diagnosed with Prolactinoma & Cabergoline is not suiting you then you can consult with your treating doctor & take dopamine agonists like bromocriptin to control high prolactin level & shrink Prolactinoma tumors.

You should avoid taking papayas, oats, alfalfa, apricots, brown rice.

Take food rich in vitamin B6 or food rich in vitamin B6. It is an effective
prolactin inhibitor. High inc food reduce prolactin, take meat, shellfish, turkey, beans, beef, nuts, dairy, eggs, dark chocolate, etc.

Medical conditions like hypothyroidism, liver or kidney disease & pituitary tumors cause hyperprolactinemia, you are suggested to get clinically assessed & treated.

Hope I have answered your query. Take care.
Regards,
Dr Nupur K
