Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife has had a stroke and I am now the Care Giver, meaning I have to do all the cooking etc,. Does Dr. Weil have a cookbook that I can purchase that will allow me to cook healthy meals for my wife? This is very important to me as I am trying to do the right things for her to get better. The other concern that I have is; Does he have a suggestion as to what product to buy that will provide Alkaline/Ionized water? Thank you, Gino Gemma, CTech my e-mail address is; YYYY@YYYY , phone 604-722-0276
Hello,Welcome to the HCM, First of all I would like to know what was the cause of stroke? Does she suffers from high B.P or diabetes or high cholestrol. I may also need your wife's weight and height to suggest a proper diet plan. Otherwise use complex carbohydrates (brown rice, brown bread, sweet corn) instead of refined sugar and sweets. Use only 10 percent of fats in whole day meal plan. divide whole day meal plan in 6 small quantity meals. increase having green leafy vegetables and fruits in diet. Regards,Dr.Maheshwari
