Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i am 180 cm in height, male, weighing 105kg. recently I have started morning walk for the last 1 month and 4 days, walking about 5.2 kms at a brisk pace of around 5.3 kmph. please guide me through what should be my food intake for the day. i would like to know the food chart in Indian food. i am 33 years of age.
Your food plate should be 25% carbs (complex carbs like lentils - dals, rajma, chole etc...) 40% proteins, 30% fiber (leafy vegetables & fruits), 5% fat (healthy oil -never over heat oil) Battle plan for weight loss = 80% is diet and 20% is exercise. Stop or reduce intake of rice, wheat, jowar, bajra, corn etc..... Brisk walking is great - just break your own record on a daily basis meaning walk a little faster than yesterday even its by seconds
