Suggest Diet Plan When Diagnosed With Jaundice And Gall Bladder Stone
HELLO, SIR MY FATHER IS DIABETIC PATIENT AND HAVE A BP PROBLEM ALSO, FROM LAST WEEK HE IS SUFFERING FROM STOMACH INFECTION, FEVER AND BLOOD INFECTION. NOW WE COME TO NOW THAT HE IS SUFFERING FROM JAUNDICE. HE HAS A STONE ALSO IN GALL BLADDER. SO WHAT SHOULD BE A DIET CHART FOR HIM SO THAT HE RECOVER SOON
Hi, Thanks for writing in HCM. It is unfortunate to note that your father is suffering from jaundice. He needs to take small, soft, easily digestible food at frequent intervals. He can consume vegetable salads, fruits and citrus fruit juices. He has to have limited protein diet and avoid high carbohydrate, and high fat diet. Since he is diabetic, his blood sugar needs constant monitoring until recovery. Since you are giving history of presence of gall stones, you need to get it removed by endoscopic surgery at a later date. Hope the information provided would be useful and helps him to recover soon. All the best.
