Suggest Diet Plan While Having Ulcerative Colitis And Mild Diverticulitis
I have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and mile diverticulitis. A doctor prescribed Keflex and it messed up my whole digestive system. Now I m on Lialda for 3 years now and would really like to take care of myself without prescriptions and in a more natural way. what diet can I start with? I understand milk products are not good for me except for Kefir which I drink daily. I also take omeprazole so that I don t get burning and uncomfortable sensation in my stomach through my intestines that last all day if I eat something very spicy. I noticed that red pepper flakes do this to me. I ve read so many things about colitis and what to do and not and there is so much contradicting info that makes me confused as to where to start. Help!!!!
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, most of the time all the abdomen complaints are nonspecific and may not be due to any disease but of course this could be due to some functional conditions and you need to be practical and come out of this condition if ever have it, else this is nothing to worry, take care and have a nice day.
