Suggest Diet To Be Followed After Undergoing Cholecystectomy
I am a 24 year female has undergone gall bladder surgery 3 months before. Now I feel better than before. Could you please suggest me the diet to be followed? My doctor advises to take normal diet (including fish, meat, chicken) with limited amount of cholesterol and told to have 2 eggs per week. Nothing more he has said since I was just 24. I have a 10 months old kid now but I have stopped breast feeding after my laparoscopic surgery. I want to know whether will the stones will form even after gall bladder removal. If so what is the way to avoid it. I am very afraid of it. Please suggest.
- If gastritis ( stomach pain experienced) it maybe treated by taking Nexium before breakfast for 1 to 2 months. If pain persists you may need to take Famot for the rest of your life.
- Avoid OILY food altogether
- Avoid eating stomach full and mouth full
- Avoid spicy food
- AVOID caffeine, dairy products, greasy foods, very sweet foods
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Tayyab Malik
