General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
With bilirubin levels reaching back to near normal, you can start taking normal diet from now on.
However, do it gradually over another 2 weeks time, which would give enough time for the liver to recover well.
You can consume fish and egg, but in small proportion, with a gradual increase. Avoid consuming egg yolk and fat diet.
What you have started is right with vegetable soups, dhal, butter milk, rice and rasam with moderate amount of chilli powder and salt, which can be consumed.
Avoid eating junk foods and fried items for next couple of weeks.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
