Suggest Doctor To Be Consulted For A Lump On The Crease Of Arm
Hi. I have a lump in the crease of my arm that I believe may have been caused when I had blood drawn. I believe it was from a year or so ago. Is this something I should have my primary check out or my dermatologist? It may be slightly small than marble. What are you thoughts?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lump on the crease of arm . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cyst , infections , lipoma or hematoma . I would suggest you to apply warm compresses on it , apply over the counter antibiotics cream , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and do not touch . If condition persist then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may take sample for lab test , order blood test and check tenderness and consistency . Doctor may remove it under local anesthesia , prescribe anti inflammatory or do liposuction in case of lipoma .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
