Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, my daughter has been prescribed Alprim for a UTI. At the time of prescribing Dr said 1 tablet twice a day. But pharmacy label when dispensed says 1/2 tablet twice a day. Tablets are 300mg and my daughter weighs 47kg. I m just checking if the correct dose should be one or half a tablet twice daily. Thank you!
This doesn’t seem right. I will say call the doctor and confirm this information. The dosage is small for her. Also, I don’t know of alarm tablets which come in 300mg as they are commonly 240, 480 and 960mg.
I hope you get this sorted out pretty soon.
