Suggest Dosage For Amoxicillin Clavulanate

I have been prescribesd amoxicillin clavulanate 875-125 for sinusitis and otitis media. The doses are not at meal time, so how much or what should I eat first? Also, if taking it twice a day and the first dose was at 1:45 PM, what is the soonest I can take the second tablet?

As per your complain Amoxicillin clavulanate 875-125 contains active ingredients Amoxicillin 650 mg and Clavulanic acid 125 mg and it is an antibiotic combination and in case if it is advised you to take twice a day it should be taken in a gap of 12 hours like once after breakfast and once at night after dinner..
You can take your breakfast whetever you take generally and same with your dinner and the idea is that antibiotics should not be taken on an empty stomach as they can cause stomach upset..
So it is better that you take it in a gap of 12 hours after eating solid food.

As you have taken your dose ay 1:45 pm ideally it should be taken at 1:45 am but as it is an odd time you can take it around 11 pm but from tomorrow take in morning and after dinner..
