Hi

Gynera is a combined oral contraceptive pill.You should take one pill a day.You can start the drug on any day.You have mentioned you are on the fifth day of your period and you can start the drug today.

Always take the drug on the same time everyday and the drug can be taken after food.It is essential to have a backup method of contraception like barrier methods for the first seven days until the pill becomes effective.

After completing 21 days,bleeding will occur,after which the course can be repeated.
