Suggest Dosage For Losar H

Hello Doctor, My name is Vijay, I ve been taking Amlopres - AT since 2000 and I m 43 years old. Few weeks back I had stopped taking Amlopres - AT for a week and then consulted a doctor the blood pressure was 170/105 so doctor prescribed Losar H and Homocheck and told me to come back after 15 days. I took all three pills as per doctor s advise for 15 days. Yesterday I went back to have a check up, now my blood pressure has come down to normalcy 130/90 but doctor told me to continue. My question is do I need to continue to take all three tablets in spite of normal blood pressure? Is it fine if I stop Losar H and Homocheck and just continue Amlopres - AT? I just wish to get a second opinion. Thank you!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

In our daily practice, we recommend Losar H to maintain the blood pressure at the normal range. So, I recommend continuing using the medication even if the blood pressure is not high.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
