Suggest Dosage For Metoprolol
Dr Rynne, a female patient had a history of hypertension, was on perindopril 10mg daily for control her blood pressure. Mrs Lee presents with a headache, palpitation, on exam: her blood pressure s 169/95mmgh, heart rate 139bpm, temperature 36.9, respiration rate is 24bpm. 12 leads ECG showed atrial fibrillation. Metoprolol has been prescribed as first line treatment for Mrs Lee’s condition. What is right dose for this scenario, how long she can take this medication for? Thank you for the answer.

the dosage of metoprolol varies from 25 mg to 200 mg it is a beta blocker and it acts on your heart to decrease the blood pressure it is usually prescribed with other anti hypertensives to reduce the blood pressure as his bp is 165/95 i hope 25 mg of metoprolol will be enough fro Mr.Lee. he has to take the medcation till his bp comes down.
