Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been taking Tramadol for a year following having both knees replaced last July. I take 1 each morning with 1 Tylenol and one each evening (12 hours later) with 1 Tylenol extra strength. My knees are still stiff and painful. How long can I safely take Tramadol?
There is not a certain period in which you can take Tramadol safely. You can take it for as long as prescribed by your doctor. You should consult an orthopedist surgeon to consult about recent surgery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you all the best.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
