Suggest Dosage For Zolpidem, Desipramine And Escitalopram

My wife takes the following meds: Zolpidem 10mg Desipramine 25mg Escitalopram 25mg It appears she has taken double the dosage of Desipramine over the past week and has fallen down the past two nights for no apparent reason. She hasn t passed out...sort of just collaspes. Could it be because she has taken too much medication? Two weeks ago she was hospitalized for a bladder infection, ear infection and dehydration. She became very confused and disoriented. That does not appear to be the case now. Should I take her back to the hospital this morning or give her a few days to get the medication out of her system.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The doubling of the dose of the medication can cause her to lose her balance and fall.

All of these medications would have dizziness and drowsiness as possible side effects.

It would be best to take her to her doctor to be assessed.

I hope this helps
