Suggest Dosage Of Udiliv To Be Given To A Child For Liver Problems
Hi! my kind 8yrs old has some problems in his liver, but not complicated one, now he is feeling itch. One Prof. (child specialists) suggested Udiliv (150mg) two times a day and other Dr. (Liver specialists) suggested Udiliv (300mg) two times a day. So I am in dilemma what to do? Which one can my kid use? Any one can help me?
The recommended dose of Udiliv for children 6 year to less than 18 years of age is 15 to 20 mg/kg/day in 2-3 divided doses, with further increase to 30 mg/kg/day if necessary.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
