Suggest Dosage Of Antibiotics And Painkillers After Tooth Extraction

Hi I had a tooth extraction yesterday and was given a prescription for Amoxycillin. I have just gone to take some more pain killers and realised ive taken 3 antibiotics instead of painkillers! There was a gap of about 3 hours between the first one and the other two which I took together. Will they do any harm?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain if you have taken two doses together and another dose just 3 hours before this can lead to some side effects to you but thankfully you have not crossed the toxic levels so better be careful henceforth..

You should now avoid taking amoxicillin for the day and of there is pain you can take Painkiller..

From the next day morning onwards first take a capsule of Pantoprazole 40 mg empty stomach and then take Amoxicillin 500 mg three times a day and the prescribed painkillers as advised by your dentist..

In case if you have any symptoms representing adverse reactions like dizziness, vomiting, rashes, nausea, stomach cramps and pain, heartburn etc you should immediately consult an Emergency Room..

Hope this helps..

Thanks and regards..
