Suggest Dosage Of Nuro Kind Plus In An Epileptic Patient
hi doctor... my sister is 30 yrs old and she is an epileptic patient.. she gets fits and she is mentally retarded.. 4 past 1 yr she is nt able to walk.. so v r givin her nuro kind plus. is dr any side effects for her??? how much of dosage should be given to her per day????? and any treatment plan for her doctor pls??
Nurokind Plus is simply a supplement. Since it contains naturally occurring substances it is a very safe supplement with no side effects. Usual dosage is 1-2 capsules 3 times per day. However to be honest I wouldn't expect much improvement, its benefits on cognitive functions are minor. It doesn't offer any benefit regarding seizures, epilepsy. Antiepileptic drugs are needed for that.
To recommend a specific one much more information is needed regarding the seizure type, EEG reports, imaging reports etc, information based upon which drug selection is made. Some of the most common options would be Carbamazepine or Valproic Acid, but again they can't be prescribed with the little info at our hand.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
