Suggest Effective Alternative Substitutes To Antibiotics Prior To Gum Surgery

I m going to do a gum surgery for 3 teeth and will remove the molar and a front tooth at the same time. The doctor may prescribe AMOX TR-K CLV 875-125 MG for me. I would like to find out if there is an alternative for me as I don t like to take antibiotics. Thanks! Grace

Can understand your concern..

As per your complain antibiotic cover before any surgical procedure is a must to cure any infections if present in the mouth..

The antibiotics helps in reducing the bacterial count so that the post operative chances of infections also becomes nominal..

There are no other ways other than antibiotics to be at the safer side and the intake of antibiotics before and after surgery are for your betterment only to remain infection free and have a quality treatment and healing as infection can delay the healing process as well as it can lead to other serious complications like Septicemia.

So you should just relax and take the complete course of antibiotic as advised by the dentist..
