Suggest Efficacy And Side Effects Of Synthroid And Liothyronine Drugs
Thank you. I have been on medication since 1963 for Hashimoto s disease. Recently, to the Synthroid that I take, my doctor added Liothyronine. I do not know why. Can you please tell me the efficacy of taking both meds and if there are any side effects? Joan

I really appreciate your concern, if you are taking this drugs since long being so better to continue this and as long as the disease is concern it needs long term or life term management more over if it creates some doubt then you can have words with endocrinologist, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
