Hi doctor.. Am suffering from severe back ache. Doctor said small stone I kidney. She gave me some tablets. After taking those tablets I get severe stomach pain and back pain. Prob in urine passage also . Pls tel doctor what food I have to take. She suggested me citralka liquid. Is it useful. Pls tel am suffering severely.
You have not mentioned the size of stone but from your question I am assuming that the kidney stone size is small enough to pass through the urine without the need of some medical procedure. The treatment of kidney stones depends on the site, size and number of kudney stones along with factors like infection or obstruction. If I were your treating physician I would recommend ultrasound KUB urine D/R for treatment 1. your hydration status should be very good. drink around 2 litres of fluid everyday. 2. tab. Ibuprofen three times daily for a week. 3. syp citralka with meals to reduce your acidity.
Also limit the intake of protiens and increase fruits and vegetables in your diet as they tend to alkalinize your urine which stops the growth of the stone.
I hope this answers your query. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any query. Wishing you good health.
