Detected with Kock TB lung with swelling of lymph , but negative MT test and ESR of 76mm what does that mean ? Xray/CT Scan/contrast/Liver/Blood test/MT/ESR all done. medicines prescribed for TB started 2 days back, pain ( in back and ribs of both lungs reducing but intermittent, what further to be done ?
thanks for asking your query I totally understood ur scenario basically you are suffering from disseminated tuberculosis. montoux test is just a test to see that u r exposed to tuberculosis as everyone in india is ,so no need to worry about mx test .it is not a diagnostic or prognostic test for tuberculosis it just tells us that infection with tb bacilli is there .about esr ,it is a general marker of infection anywhere in the body.if any kind of infection is there inside our body esr is raised.so no need of worrying ,its all ok according to trhe disease. u need to do is ,just take the anti tb medications regularly for 6 months ( if u r taking it for the first time) as tuberculosis is curable so no need to worry
