Suggest Healthy Therapies To Cure Morgellons Disease
My adult son just found out he has Morgellons Disease. He has the classic symptoms I found online. he is under a doctors care receiving antibiotic therapy. Are there any topical medicines that help or healthy alternative therapies etc.? Thank you, Denise
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Morgellons disease is a condition in which people have a belief that they are infested with disease-causing agents such as insects, parasites, hairs or fibers, while in reality no such things are present. It is a delusional disorder characterised by cutaneous symptoms such as crawling, biting, and stinging sensations, unusual fibers in the skin, and persistent skin lesions in the form of rashes or sores. It is also called 'delusional parasitosis'. It is typically treated by prescription of one of antipsychotic drugs as it is aimed at treating anxiety, depression or any other condition that affects thinking, moods or behaviour. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
