Suggest Home Remedies For Elevated SGPT And SGOT Levels
Hi, I undergone to a medical exam and turn out not so good. My SGPT is 83 and SGOT of 52. The doctor gave me a medication to lower the sgpt and sgot. What are the home remedies that can help me to lower it? Coz i need to go back and repeat the test and I aim to have a normal result. Thanks
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Elevated SGOT and SGPT level measurement would indicate liver dysfunction. The following things can be taken care of to maintain the levels under normal limits. 1. Abstain from smoking and alcohol, if you are habituated to. 2. Consume diet less in fats and oils and refined sugars like carbonated water, fried foods and junk foods. 3. Increase your intake of fibre in the diet. Take the medications regularly as recommended. Practice moderate exercise everyday. You should get better gradually in due course of time. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
