Hi,

Delay in periods can be due to overweight or low body weight, stress (mostly), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid problems or few other causes.

I advice you to:
1. Check hemoglobin levels
2. USG pelvis to rule out any underlying pathology
3. Do YOGA and stress management
4. Nutritious diet rich in protein and iron
5. Exercise
6. Consult a gynecologist for further assistance if any.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
