Hi, I am suffering from pilonidal sinus . At first i thought it was some skin problem so i use to apply soframycin cream but it didn t work . Sometimes it bleed and mostly it causes pain . i looked it up on the internet and i found cleaning that will cure the infection. i did that and it helped at first but it is not completely gone . Please advice me some home remedies ,some medicine or anything like that . Surgical treatment will take weeks and lot of trouble Thanks and regards
If I were your treating doctor I would like suggest you that start antibiotics medication like ofloxacin 200mg for 5 days. The ways to prevent pilonidal sinus are: - Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene - Removed excess body hair - Avoiding sitting for long hours at a stretch - Avoid inactive lifestyle and prolonged siting
