Suggest Home Remedies For Swollen Feet While Having Cancer
Cancer patient, legs and stomach filled with water and swollen. Please help how can I relieve my father. He s on chemotherapy for 2,5 years with max. 6 weeks break. Now he s taking his fifth chemotherapy and these are the side effects(see pictures). He has very swollen feet and its difficult for him to walk. The stomach is very big too. Something will cells and retention of water. I m very scared, please help, what home remedies or pills would you recommend?? Thank you PJ

Chemotherapy drugs cause water retention in he body. The dose of chemotherapy should be monitored carefully so that the patients do not have side effects.
You should keep the treating doctor informed of all the symptoms your father has so that the chemotherapy can be done successfully.
In the meantime, you can help your father by giving him a low salt diet, give him potassium & magnesium supplements & food rich in Mg & Ca.
Give him adequate protein. Vitamin B6, B12 rich food or supplements are effective.
He should keep his feet elevated while sitting on a stool or keep it on a pillow while on bed. He should take adequate rest & stay away from stress. Compression stalking or leggings may help.
