Suggest Home Remedy For Huge Boil With A Hole Next To Scrotum
i have a huge boil on my inside leg by my scrotum..its the size of a big cherry...it has a hole in it but when i squeeze nothing comes out and i can feel the hardness around it and i know there is alot in it...what do i do to get it out other than going to the hospital?
Several options make really help here, the first is to soak the area in a warm EPSOM SALT BATH (what they call a SITZ BATH) this is reduce inflammation and help the size the area to shrink. This is the safest and most effective way to reduce this. It does require doing it once to twice daily and is not an immediate fix here.
Applying topical NEOSPORIN or triple antibiotic ointment will also help here to locally treat the infection, also not immediate I am sorry to say. Really the only immediate treatment is to have this lanced and drained by your family doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. David J. Girardi, Internal Medicine Specialist
