My left side of my throat is hurting to move or touch, but there is not pain to eat or drink. I have felt around and I don t feel anything swollen but it seems as though it s getting worse, is there something at home I can do or should I go in to my doctor.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pain in throat due to which your are unable to eat or drink anything which is mainly because of strep throat and acute pharyngitis which could be due to viral or bacterial infection. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles with salt and water. Take steam inhalation if you are comfortable in that. Avoid sharp, spicy and oily foods. Avoid cold drinks. Visit ENT specialist once if symptoms keeps on persisting and get it examined. Go for proper prescribed course of medications. Keep sipping warm water the whole day. Maintain proper oral hygiene.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
