Suggest Home Remedy For Red, Itchy, Burning Bumps And Rashes On Legs And Hands
I ve had a rash that started on my arm. Now its on my back both arms a few spots on leg and my hands. Its red bumps itchy burns sometimes and inflamed. Almost like mosquito bites. I ve tried cortizone 10 it started to go away but now is getting worse again. I ve had it for over a wk now its driving me crazy. I have never had a rash before ever. Its embarrassing. If I put ice or cold wash clothes on it feels better. Please help I don t have insurance right now I need something I can do at home myself.

Many possible causes are found for an itchy rash on the arms and legs. They are allergic contact dermatitis, flea bites, fifth disease, allergic eczema, drug allergy, chicken pox, measles, herpes zoster, hand foot and mouth disease, molluscum contagiosum, or pityriasis rosea.
Only with thorough clinical examination, and few necessary tests, a specific diagnosis can be made. I can suggest few treatment options which are antihistamines like Benadryl and Levocetirizine can be taken daily twice. Calamine lotion over the rash would help soothe the burning sensation. Topical usage of 0.2% hydrocortisone. Clobetasol 0.05% cream can be applied.
If your symptoms don't fade in 4-5 days, please do consult a dermatologist for accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
