Suggest Long Term Effects Of Dilantin For Seizures
I have been taking Dilantin 100mg. x 3/day for the last 12 years. It is controlling my seizures very well. I, however am concerned with long term effects. I have herd bonethinning ?, should I be taking a calcium supp.? What about other physiological effects from long term use Thanx?

if you have been taking the medication for 12 years and it has not had any undesired effect other than keeping your seizures under control it is not likely to have any and you should be confident about it.
secondly how many years have you remained seizure free if you have had a seizure free two years was a trial of dose reduction and ultimatelu stoping the medication was done?
