Suggest Me Medication For Pain In The Bottom Of Hand After Falling On Ice?

I slipped on some ice and fell 5 weeks ago. The next evening I went to the ER where they performed an x ray that came back negative. I was told to follow up with a local urgent care, I did that a week later. They performed am x ray again, it was negative. I was then assigned physical therapy for about 5 sessions, and since then the pain had intensified. The pain is at the bottom of the hand where it connects to the wrist, the pain sometimes radiates to the pinky and ring finger; and up through to my forearm and elbow.

Hi,

The hand has a lot of bones. Sometimes, the fracture is missed. MRI and bone scans are sometimes needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman, Addiction Medicine Specialist
