Hi,
I noted the history about your husband, sorry to know that he expired due to
massive heart attack. wants to know whether it is due to over-reacting to the incidence that you get heartburn and toothache. Gastroscopy was normal and was prescribed Nexium 1 year ago, on Crestor for
cholesterol, in the process of quitting smoking with Champix tablets. The raised blood pressure may cause the pumping artery of the
Trigeminal nerve or its branch to cause the toothache, if the tooth is normal.
One of the commonest cause of acidity is anxiety and related disorders. I would advise you the following:
- Get a clinical evaluation, examination particularly for
hypertension as a good control may alleviated the attacks.
- Get an opinion of a Dental Surgeon whether there is caries or such a problem of the teeth and if present get corrected accordingly. If the teeth are perfectly normal, you should get the opinion of a
Neurologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
